The Department of Earth and Planetary Sciences at Yale University invites applications for a tenure track faculty appointment in the broad area of geochemistry at the Assistant Professor level. Relevant fields include (but are not limited to) global biogeochemical cycling, paleoclimatology, atmospheric chemistry, biogeochemistry, geomicrobiology, planetary evolution, and Earth surface processes. We seek candidates who will develop outstanding research programs, have strong prospects for exceptional scholarly impact and teaching excellence, and who will enhance the existing strengths of the Department and University. The successful applicant will develop and implement externally-funded research programs, teach and advise students, and facilitate interdisciplinary research.
