Carbon in Earth: Special open-access volume of Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry from the Deep Carbon Observatory (DCO)
A special, open-access volume represents the first major collective publication of the DCO, and an astonishing look at the new field of deep carbon science.  The special issue of Reviews in Mineralogy and Geochemistry, called Carbon in Earth, Volume 75, comprises twenty chapters by more than fifty researchers in nine countries. The 700-page book integrates a vast body of research in physics, chemistry, biology and Earth and space sciences. Each chapter synthesizes what we know about deep carbon, and also outlines unanswered questions that will guide the Sloan Foundation-funded Deep Carbon Observatory for the remainder of the decade and beyond. Ridge 2000 special issue of Oceanography magazine
The March 2012 issue of Oceanography magazine, available online now, is a Special Issue featuring Ridge 2000 Program research, with 29 articles spanning a broad spectrum of disciplinary and inter-disciplinary topics in oceanic spreading center processes. The Special Issue is a tribute to the legacy of the Ridge 2000 Program and its predecessor, RIDGE and was co-edited by Dan Fornari, Jim Holden, Lauren Mullineaux, and Maya Tolstoy.
